    Network management Two 10/100Base-T Ethernet port connections via midplane to the Chassis Monitoring Module (CMM). Only one connection (NET 0) is used.

    PCI Interfaces with the Sun Netra Modular System (chassis)
    • I/O is offered in two form factors:
      • PCI Express ExpressModules (EM)
        and
      • PCI Express Network Express Modules (NEM).
    • Each Sun Netra T6340 has four, x8 lane PCI Express links allocated to:
      • Two EMs
        and
      • Two NEMs.
    • Each NEM has one link assigned to each server module. All server modules share the NEM. For example, Blade 0 has access to NEM 0/slot 0, and NEM 1/slot 0. Blade 1 to NEM 0/slot 1 and NEM 1/slot 1, etc.
    • EM slots are not shared between server modules. Each EM slot is specific to one server module.
