The FAS3070 addresses the core requirements of the midrange enterprise storage market, delivering a superb blend of price, performance, and scalability for SQL Server databases and business applications. The compact, modular design provides integrated FC SAN and IP SAN (iSCSI) storage with scalability to over 500 disk drives, up to a maximum raw capacity of 504TB making the FAS3070 highly upgradable. The FAS3070 storage controller supports both FC and SATA disk drives for tiered storage. FAS3070 systems support as many as 32 FC ports or 32 Ethernet ports, including support for 2Gb and 4Gb FC and for 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
This FAS3070A is a 6U rack-mountable clustered system filer comprised of two controllers. This FAS3070A comes with four DS14MK2 shelves with (14) X267A-R5 500GB SATA 7,200 RPM Hard Drives each for a total of 56 hard drives and a total raw capacity of 28TB. The dual controller system is the ultimate fail safe configuration, offering full redundancy while splitting the system’s load thereby offering twice the level of performance. This FA3070 has been refurbished and tested by our technicians.
