Whether for primary or secondary storage, the FAS2000 series’ versatility accommodates both large distributed enterprises and Midsize Enterprises by offering integrated block- and file-level data access, intelligent management software, and data protection capabilities in a cost-effective package. More importantly, the FAS2000 series as part of the FAS Family helps maintain a single architecture across all tiers of storage.
The FAS2020 is a 2U rack-mountable storage server in which the system enclosure contains the controller. In addition, the FAS2020 provides 10/100/1000Base- T Ethernet and 4/2/1 Gigabit Fibre Channel SAN connectivity and runs I-SCSI protocol.
The FAS2020 is easily expandable up to 68TB and can be clustered internally with an additional controller module.
