The IBM 7311 D10 I/O Drawer is a rack mountable expansion that attaches to a 7038-6M2 pSeries 650 server. The D10 drawers are connected by remote I/O adapters and cables. The Model D10 requires 4U of vertical space in a 19-inch rack. The D10 drawers offer six full length PCI adapter slots.
- A 4U rack-mount enclosure that can hold one or two D10 drawers
- 5x 64-bit 3.3v hot-plug, blind-swap PCI-X slots
- 1x 64-bit 5v hot-plug, blind-swap PCI slot, supporting current and legacy adapters
- Two-port Remote I/O adapter and cables for attachment to a pSeries 650
