- High performance, full duplex, 200 MB/s per port, non-blocking switch performance.
- Choice of 2Gb and 1Gb Fibre Channel port configurations.
- Existing FC/9000 1Gb models can be upgraded to support 2Gb Fibre Channel connections.
- High Availability Option that supports concurrent hardware maintenance with firmware upgrade capability and automatic failover.
- Flexible Fibre Channel attachments include FICON, FCP Fabric, Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) Public and Private Loop, and cascaded Directors.
- CNT-Virtual Storage Networking (IN-VSN) Enterprise Manager that includes Call Home, pager, and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) notification if service is necessary. With private LAN attachment, CNT Virtual Storage Networking (IN-VSN(**)) supports multiple FC/9000 Director management with up to 16 clients for remote management.
