IBM 2027-R16 TotalStorage SAN16M-R

The 2027-R16 routers are designed to provide fiber channel and gigabit Ethernet wire-speed fabric connectivity. The SAN16M-R offers 16 ports; twelve ports are user configurable as 1-2 Gbps fibre channel or as GigEthernet.
- Three optional firmware versions: enable additional routing ports, addition of iFCP with Fast Write, or comprehensive bundle with full SAN routing and iFCP functionality enabled.
- Standard SANvergence Management software included in base, option to purchase Enterprise SANvergence Management software or McDATA EFCM version 9.0 or later.
- Support iSCSI, Fibre Channel fabric, SAN routing on two ports, and option to add extended distance iFCP and additional routing ports.
